Into the Wild

Sun Jul 13, 2008, 2:16 PM
I watched the most intriguing movie today. In some ways it was kind of slow, but I found myself falling in love with it. Maybe not so much with the movie, just the ideas and words behind it. I must say I've always been a sucker for words and there are quotes and words aplenty in this movie. But there are also beautiful messages within this movie. Messages and things that really pull at the heart. Or at least mine anyways. It made me sad, but it also made me happy. An inexplicable combination that I still have yet to quite figure out. I also loved the beauty of the movie. So much nature and life. It made me wish so badly that I could be there, at those places.. (with my camera of course. =P) It's made me think about people, and about living, and about life. Haha, so in the end I guess I couldn't help but share even if this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever..

I really liked that movie, and its based on a true story and I read somewhere that the bus that he lived in someone had stolen a pair of shoes that he wore. Which I find sad that someone had to steal something. It was a good movie I admit I was kind of not loving it at first because like you said it was slow to start but it was great movie.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and good with ketchup!
That is really sad that someone would steal his shoes. =(
I think there's a book and I thought that might be interesting to read through and possibly find out more about it.

I thought the same thing about someone stealing his shoes, and that was in my local paper when the movie was released because I think Shawn Penn directed the movie and he had found out about that. I'm sure the book would probably cover a little more than the movie did I say go for it :)

Yes, I am! =) It's actually a required reading for our school, but I've myself really enjoying it. ^_^ I do believe we have a copy of Wuthering Heights somewhere so when I finish I shall make sure to try and find it! :reading:

Hm, I hope to be able to read it soon though I have a mass of other books to read. =P But maybe I can squeeze it in somewhere. I kind of wish I had paid more attention when the movie first came out.
